EMC CertTracker Upgrade Information

Please note that the EMC CertTracker application is undergoing a system upgrade and will be unavailable from March 14 to March 26, 2013.

Some of the activities you would typically perform – such as reviewing certifications and accreditations earned, testing history or making changes to personal information – will be unavailable during this time. However, you will be able to:

The results of tests you may take during the period March 14-26, 2013 will be made available in your account after March 27, 2013.

As a follow up to this communication, please expect an email notification with instructions for logging into the enhanced application. There will be no change to your user name and EMC CertTracker ID. However, you will be required to reset your password.

There are many certifications which are getting expired/No Longer Offered from March 31st. I understand that this is a planned maintenance but since, EMC Education Services has decided to expired Certifications for EOS Products. There are many students/partners who will try to pursue those certs before 31st March. If only, we could delay or reschedule it after March! Not possible, I know. I am just expressing my opinion.

Hi Ankit,

As the above announcement states, you will still be able to register for and take exams during the upgrade period. The only interruption in service will be to reviewing certifications and accreditations earned, testing history or making changes to personal information within CertTracker itself.  If you take an exam during this time and pass, that history will be reflected in your CertTracker account when it returns to normal service.

Ah yes, I opened the page via the company Citrix environment and suddenly it works again. It's always the network at fault, right?

Hi

the message send out saying that we could log in again, states that we should use the email adress that the email was send to.

that is not neccesarily true, most of my colleagues and a lot of our resellers had to use the email that was entered as secondary email in the old cert tracker and not the primary one.

Hi Kate,

I've received an email a couple of days ago mentioning we can log in again. However the link (EMC CertTracker) in step 1 is giving me a bit of a hard time: I'm getting "Page cannot be displayed/Page Unavailable" errors.

Is the system still down?


Never mind; different internet connection and suddenly it works again!

Yeah, here too, luckily I remembered what my second email address was.

In demographics my work and home address had mixed up data, but I took care of that.

You might want to look into that as well.

Mostly unrealated, but upon first sign into to cert tracker I noticed my existing EMCISA cert wasn't shown... is that normal?

@ Mark - you should see all of the exams you have attempted and all the certifications you've achieved in your account.  If you don't, please email us at EMCProvenHelpDesk@emc.com and we'll look into this.

@ RRR - you are correct, the email address the announcement was sent to isn't always the email address needed to log into the enhanced CertTracker application.  We apologize for any confusion or frustration this causes.
