E10-001 Information Storage Management Exam retirement
Hi All,
I am presently taking the 5 web-based ISMv2 courses and studying to take the associated exam.
I am therefore after some advice.
I am aware that the current exam for 'ISM' (I presume version 1?!) expires at the turn of the year?
Is it sensible then, for me to wait until the new year, even though I am likely to have learnt the content of the ISMv2 courses to a satisfactory standard well within the next couple of weeks and take the 'new' exam, which I assume will be better alligned to the course content?
OR
Do I take the E10-001 exam prior to this? - Is the content between what I imagine to be v1 and v2 different to a point that will risk my passing the exam?
Opinions welcome!
Thanks,
Ryan

Hello Ryan -
Currently both versions of the Information Storage and Management exams are available. You should take the exam that goes with the study materials you are using.
E20-001 exam expires at the end of the year. The certifications that have been earned will not expire. They will still be good towards any track specialty that currently accepts that certification.
E10-001 v2 exam - The certifications that are earned will not expire. They will still be good towards any track specialty that currently accepts that certification.
Good luck, ddProven
