do you have to take the ISM exam before the specialist exam?

do you have to take the ISM exam before the specialist exam? or can you totally bypass the ISM and go to the E20-522 Exam?

Hello -

To obtain the SA-Clariion Specialist credential you must also have a valid Associate requirement. For this track that would be a valid E20-001 (ISM) or the E20-040 (ETF) credential.

I hope this doesn't add confusion.  You can take the exams in any sequence you like.  So you could take the Specialist exam first, however you would not achieve your Specialist credential until you also completed the Associate level exams as ddproven described.
