proven professional, if you don't have e20-120 you'll have to take the new e20-110

Hello. The existing xCP certification exam covers xCP Version 1.x. If you wish to earn the credential with regard to xCP 1.x (xCP 2.x was released about a year ago), you must have passed either the E20-120 Content Management Foundations exam (retired as of September 1, 2013) or the E10-110 Enterprise Content Management exam PLUS the current E20-495 xCP Application Development exam.
With that said, we are republishing the E20-495 xCP Application Development exam for xCP 2.x in November of this year. To earn the credential with regard to xCP 2.x you will need to have passed both the E10-110 Enterprise Content Management exam PLUS the new E20-495 xCP Application Development exam (release date scheduled for November 8, 2013).
We will be beta testing the the xCP 2.x exam at the Momentum Developer Conference next week in San Ramon, CA if you are interested in participating. We are offering the beta to conference goers free of charge vs. the $200 fee that Pearson VUE will charge once the exam is published in November. If you are interested in participating in the beta please contact me directly. Those people who pass the beta will be the first to get a "pass" for the 2.x exam.
If you have further questions, please let me know.
