Additional 329 and 591 BRS TA exam training resources?
Hello,
I am persuing the BRS TA certification. I have passed the e20-001 and the e20-593 networker exam but an having troubles with the 591 exam.
I see that the recommended training for the 591 and 329 exams are the VILTs (which I have for both exams and have been through multiple times)
The problem I am having is these VILTS are extremely generalalized for the questions I am seeing on the 591 exam. The last attempt I made I noticed MOST of the Networker question topics WERE NOT covered in the 591 VILT, I only knew these questions due to passing the 593 networker exam and the e20-593 VILT.
It seems like these VILTs are just a starting point for the exams and I am kind of worried about the 329 exam next week.
I am going to roll though both the 329 and 591 VILTs this week but right now, I am not feeling any more or less confident than I was my last 3 failures on the 591 exam.
Beyond asking EMC to try to write test questions that are covered in the "recommended" material for that test, I'm not sure where else to look for more study material. Maybe order all VILTS for DPA, EDL, Avamar and Data Domain and roll though those too?

Hello -
When developing exams, every effort is made to ensure that each question is supported by the curriculum listed in the exam description and that the correct answer can be derived from the material.
The courses for the E20-329 and E20-591 exams are:
E20-329: EMC Backup and Recovery Solutions Design VILT course
E20-591: EMC Backup and Recovery Technologies VILT course
It is very important to note that, in addition to the VILT, the supporting material also includes the slides and notes found in the corresponding student guides and included with the VILT.
Both courses, and the corresponding exams, were updated within the past year: E20-329 in March, 2012 and E20-591 in November, 2011. To adequately study for the exams, please be sure that you have the latest versions of the VILTs.
Good Luck,
