Will 3300MP properly display an HD signal from a PS3....?

I was hopig one of you experts out there could provide the necessary info which has thus far eluded me...

I have had a 3300MP for a couple of years now for use with PP presentations etc (just the usual stuff!). I have just taken delivery of a PS3 and assumed that to play my games on the 3300MP would have been a simple case of buying an M1-to-HDMI adaptor.

However, upon some initial reading on the net - it would appear that the 3300MP may only accept an anaogue signal via it female M1 connector - is this the case and if so, is there a way around this 'issue' which will enable me to play PS3 games on my 3300MP.....?

ANny help and/or information in regard to my 'dilemma' would be greatly appreciated.
