Shifting Foggy Image Dell 2200MP

Dear All

My projector suddenly starts showing darker than normal with brighter around the edges.  However, I assuming that it was the projector lamp replaced it.  However, to my surprise the problem was not rectified.  I have reseated the lamp and reset the projector a number of times. I have turned the projector upside down on its side etc and the only result has been sections of the image are brighter than other parts of the displayed image.  Note that this test was done on the searching for source blue screen.  Can anyone suggest how I can rectify this problem.

Regards

OriginalPhantom,

Have you opened it up and blown all of the dust out of it?

Beyond removing the bulb, and blewing out the dust from that section, I have not attempted to open any other part of the projector.  Please advise.

Just an update - using compressed air today to blow out the desk shifted the fogginess somewhat which varies whether the projector is right side up or upside down.  Don't know if that meets anything.

My apologies if the other posts seems  confusing.  I have used compressed air to blow out the projector. Upon rebooting, the extent of the foggy image sometimes shifts and spreads and continues to do so if I rotate the projector to upside down sometimes getting really dark.

Kindly advise

Regards

Alex.

OriginalPhantom,

I would contact a local projector repair center and ask them to open it up and blow it out. We do not have that documentation.
