s500wi Pen calibration

We just received a s500wi projector and the pen is not calibrated properly.  There is one spot in the middle of the image where the pen and the mouse pointer match, but when you go farther out from that center spot, the location of the pen on the image and the mouse pointer is way off, like 4 inches.  How do I fix this?

Good question... I'm having the same problem and came here looking for answers. Anybody?

Sigh... I think this thread is all questions and no answers.

By way of update. I have now installed the second of eight of these projectors that were purchased for my campus. It is having the exact same issue.

By way of troubleshooting I have tried:

Resetting to factory defaults.

Re pairing the pen.

Three different pens.

Pairing in both open and fixed modes.

I have checked every setting in the menu and on the web page and found no calibrating option. Everything I have read says they should calibrate automatically. I'm starting to get upset and thinking maybe I shouldn't have went with these. I have been unable to find any help with the issue online.

I found a solution that worked for me. The resolution of the projector was 1280x800, but the computers resolution was set to 1024x768. Since the computers I was working with didn't have a 1280x800 option, I changed the resolution on the projector to 1024x768. Once I did that the pen was spot on with the cursor.

I'm guessing it doesn't matter which of the two settings you use as long as the projector and the computer are set to the same resolution.
