S500wi Network/WiFi problems

I've recently purchased 11 S500wi model projectors for our classrooms, and I am trying to integrate these on our local network so my help desk can access them remotely. However, none of them are being recognized by my network.

The problem occurs when I plug a network cable into the NIC port on the projector. It shows a connection, but when I send a ping to that IP, I get nothing. I've attempted to disable the wireless but the feature is grayed out in the menu. I've factory reset each unit and attempted to hard code the IP but it still doesn't connect. I suspect a firmware issue since this is happening on every unit but I'm not sure. Does anyone else have any thoughts?

Some extra info: The projectors are ceiling-mounted in a classroom environment. We use static IP addresses, and each one has been assigned a unique address. I have created DNS reservations on my network and hard coded the IP's. All of them are part of a single VLAN as well. They connect to a remote IP controller using the RS232 connection.
