S300WI - Interactive Pen

I'm having issues setting up/activating the interactive pen.

I have the projector connected to my laptop by wireless and everything else works fine.

I log in as "interactive" and as per the instructions when I point the interactive pen toward the screen, nothing happens. Instructions say the green light on the pen which just blinks at the moment should remain as a green light.

I've made sure the interactive pen is switched on the projector menu, tried replacing the batteries in the pen, relogging in few time, but am having no success.

Has anyone had similar issues, if yes can you let me know what I'm doing wrong. Thanks!

Marco.

Did you set the projector to use the pen on wireless. On teh projector bring up the on-screen menu and navigate to Others go down to interactive and make sure it is set to wireless instead of Mini-Usb

If your are on "Interactive mode is on" then turn OFF then turn ON again it should work. (follow turn off procedure on the manual)

Your laptop or PC must be ON first.

If the system is idle for a while then the machine will SLEEP then you have to turn your projector OFF (Unplug the cable does not fix the problem)

I'm having similar problems as those posted here.  I would love someone to walk me through this process.  I can get the cursor to move on the projector screen when it is not in interactive mode.  However, when I go to interactive mode, the screen freezes, and nothing happens on the projector screen.  The mouse on my computer screen moves however.

Have you had any luck with finding answers?  I'd love to get someone to walk me through this.

I'm having problems setting up my interactive pen and projector.  (s300wi)  If you could give me some advice I'd really appreciate it.  My problem is getting the interactive pen to work.  The cursor moves on the projector screen when I am not in interactive mode, but when I go to interactive mode, the pen doesn't work on the screen but it does work on my computer screen.  Strange though, becaue the mouse functions on the pen don't work.

Turn on the laptop first then the projector. When the system is idle for a while then your pen is going to sleep, sometime it doesn't wake up.

Turn the projector off then turn it on again then every thing is ok.

The USB cable should connect between your laptop and the projector. The wireless is for screen data only.

As I did not read the instruction carefully, I did not make my projector work the first time, the second one was ok.

I came back to my first unit with similar problems as your.

I thought the first one is malfuction and sent complain to DELL.

Before getting reply from DELL, I set it back to factory default setting, and everything  OK.

Try to put the machine to factory default setting  to see if your problem fix.
