Remote will not turn on Projector

I've got a Dell 3300MP that the remote will not turn on.  If you turn it on manually the remote functions 100% otherwise and will even turn the projector off.  I've got about 20 of these projectors and the remote works fine on other projectors but none of the other remotes will turn this one on.  I've got the power, MI-D (?) cable and rca video cable connected.  Any suggestions?  I've got 442 days of warranty left on it.  Should I just ask for a replacement?
