Remote control does not advance slides
The remote control - model SRC-TM 2 - does not advance power point slides when using my Dell 1201MP projector with my laptop. The keystone function works fine - it's only the next and previous page that is a problem. I've doublechecked batteries, the battery lid on the remote and the USB cable. Any thoughts!

I am using a brand new USB cable - also have new batteries - and checked to make sure the battery lid cover was closed shut. Next and Previous Slide functions still do not work.

Just checking, you are actually using the program named Microsoft Office PowerPoint, correct?
What version of the software are you using? 2000? 20003? 2007?
And you're using a FULL version, not the reader, correct?

Didn't Office 2003 come in like 8 different versions? Do you have the full version of PowerPoint 2003 as well?
What is the OS of the computer?
When you plug in the projector, does the computer recognize it?

I'm running Windows XP Professional - Version 2002 - Service Pack 2 and Microsoft Office Power Point 3
(11.8169.8202) SP3 - part of Microsoft Office 2003 XP Professional Edition 2003. Yes, computer recognizes projector.
Remote does keystone function, just not the advancing.
