Red picture when using component video

Question

Hi,   When I connect my DVD player to my Dell 2300MP projector, I do get a picture, but it is all red? Is that an issue with the projector?  Or do I need to change any of the settings?   Thanks for any help. Rgds, Jasper Hillebrand

Have you tried another set of component cables or another cables like composite ? Also you can try the factory reset from the Menu display.

your componenet cables are hooked up backwards. the red and blue.
