Projector Dell 4100MP and Playstation3 - HDMI to M1 connection
Hi there,
I was trying to connect my PS3 with a Dell 4100MP projector using composite video, but screen was too ugly. So I bought a HDMI to M1 reduction (becasue Dell 4100MP doesn't have HDMI, only M1 digital input). But when I connect PS3 trough HDMI using that reduction to the projector and
choose HDMI input on my PS3, I can't see anything.
Using the same HDMI cabel and LCD TV is everything ok.
Does anybody know what could be the problem ?
Thanks a lot.

The projectors M1-A only supports a component signal. Our recommendation to use the PS3 AV Multi out cable into the projectors composite or s-video. Hopefully, Sony will release an HDMI out to VGA cable.

Have Projector 5100Mp and Playstation3-HDMI cable to HDMI cable-Using TOS link for audio. Picture comes through but has a red line distortion when playing games and blue ray.
Have you seen this before?
5100Mp looks great with Dish 722 HD receiver. Media room application.

I am trying to do a similar thing with my Dell 4100MP projector. So can I not connect a Blu-Ray player to my 4100 MP using one of those HDMI to M1 convertors? Will it not work? Is my best bet to just find an older Blu-Ray player that does indeed have a component video output?
Thanks,
