Projector Color Profiles
I got i1 Display2 to calibrate a color profile for my monitors. For some reason it installed a PowerPoint add-in that asks me for a color profile for the projector each time -- and one does not exist. And I don't want to spend money on a tool to create one; it's just not that important for what I do. But if there is a free or very inexpensive tool to create one, or if there is one for the Dell M409WX projector that could be downloaded, that would be helpful. Does anyone know of one?
I do understand that PowerPoint normally can't use multiple color profiles. It seems like the GretagMacBeth/X-Rite add-in to PowerPoint does allow this, but no tool for creating one so far as I can tell. In the absence of a solution, I'll just uninstall the add-in as the color that comes through PowerPoint using the laptop screen profile isn't bad.
