Pre-Sale Questions: 5100MP 1600 x 900, Image Tearing, and Network Protocol Interface

I have an interest in purchasing several of the 5100MP projectors. However the following items need to addressed:

 

1. Image Tearing - Is image tearing still a problem with the 5100MP at 1400 x 1050 native resolution?

 

2. Can the 5100MP support 1600 X 900 resolution without image tearing?

 

3. There appears to be a http protocol to remotely control the projector. Is this protocol documented and available?
