Powerpoints Ipod and Dell 2300MP

I am trying to use my Ipod to show some powerpoints through the 2300MP using the S video link. I am not getting an image. The Apple site says "Method 2 setup (S-video) This method provides slightly better image quality and should be used if possible. This method requires a television or other video device with S video inputs. Additionally, S-video can only be used when the iPod is in the Universal Dock. 1. Place iPod in the Universal Dock. 2. Connect a S-video cable to the S-video out port on the Universal Dock. This connection provides the video signal. 3. Connect the other end of the S-video cable to the S-video input on the television." I have done steps 1-3 but no image and the 2300 does not recognize that the s video is hooked up. I'm not sure if the signal is not coming out of the Ipod or if the 2300 is just not recognizing the connection. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

treecatcher,

Do you have another device to try on the 2300MP s-video?
