Please help! 2400MP Projector and 1080i

Question

Please help...
I bought the 2400MP because it stated that it could do 1080i. I read product reviews where people tested it in 1080i. The manual says it supports 1080i.

How do I get a 1080i signal to the projector?

Here's what I have.

Signal Source - Playstation 3. I also have a DVD player / home theater system with outputs only, and I'm using S-Video for that. (I currently have an S-Video switch box)

The Playstation 3 has an HDMI port on the back.

The 2400MP has S-Video and VGA, but no HDMI, or a DVI port.

What am I missing? How can I get this 1080i projector to work in a 1080i setup???

Use the VGA port. I plugged my Dish Network receiver into it and I'm getting a super picture. Additionally, my projector menu says it's working in 1080i resolution and I have no reason to doubt it given the picture quality. Hope this helps...

That turned out to be right! I bought an HDMI to VGA adapter module and it will be here shortly. The PS3 does not have a VGA out, but this box separates the video from sound and converts it to the VGA cable. I hope it works, thanks!
