Optiplex 745 intermittent signal to projector, while D600 laptop works perfect. 2300MP
The projector is mounted from the ceiling in a meeting room, with the cables in the roof strung into wall outlets where the computer is. It is an optiplex 745 and upon starting up the PC and projector, they work fine. However after about 5-10 minutes the projector starts to flicker and returns to the "Searching for signal" splash page. Immediately after this happens I will connect the laptop using the same cable (which is strung through the roof) as the optiplex PC and it will work perfectly for hours on end without fail.
Now, if I choose to connect the 745 directly to the projector (bypassing the cables in the roof), the image from the PC will display fine for hours on end.
Originally I thought it was the wiring in the roof, however that wouldn't make sense if the laptop works correctly when using those same cables.
Any ideas?
Also the desktop has had every resolution tried as well as every refresh rate.
Note this has also been tried with a GX620. Desktop PC's just don't seem to work. Also when the signal is lost it actually says "Signal lost" when the projector is scanning for a signal through the output options. Each PC is connected via VGA cable.

How long are the cables?
