NO TV

I want to get rid of my 15+ year old TV - finally. What has kept me back is all of the options available. We live in a SMALL condo.

I had an idea for a projector instead of a TV. I would like to set up a system where we could watch TV, and DVD's on a pull down screen and have a good sound system to listen to music. To save space I would like to have the projector on the ceiling. Is such a thing possible? How would something like this be set up?

Any and ALL ideas welcome. Remember we live in limted space.....

you just need to plug in your DVD player and STB to your receiver...from the receiver connect to the projector assuming the projector you buy has the appropriate connections.  There are a ton of ways to connect it and make it work.  But if you have a higher end receiver it should support all the various connections and protocols.  It's as easy and sometimes easier than hooking up an LCD or TV to your system if you do enough research.  Just google what you are wanting and I'm sure you'll find more than you will need.
