Network Access - Dell 4610X Projector

I am trying to setup the Dell 4610X projector via RJ45 (no not Wireless) and am having trouble connecting.

I have it setup on DHCP and I can ping and connect to the projector via HTTP. I cannot connect to the projector via netproj.exe (aka "connect to a network projector").

Searching finds nothing and manually entering the IP sends back the following message: "Windows received information from the projector that it can't interpert. Turn the projector off and then on, and then try to connect to the projector again."

I should also mention that I do not want to download the control center. What am I'm trying to accomplish is that anyone can bring there laptop into the projection room and connect to the projector with netproj.exe. I don't want to have people start downloading the control as there is no fixed number of people that could be accessing the projector.

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you.
