MP2200 won't power up...

Question

Just replaced the lamp in a MP2200. Projector will not power up. Original lamp popped and ordered replacement from Dell. Are there any possbilities other than the replacement was no good either?

jfsully61, The projector will not turn on if the bulb is bad or not installed properly.

Thanks Chris M. The bulb seems to 'seat' fine, connections align into the holes, and all screws line up and tighten properly. Power source works for other devices. Is there an internal fuse that could have blown? Not sure what else to do except to send the bulb back to Dell and try another one..........
