Model 1100MP Projector

Hi- The projector at our church is "dying" for lack of better words... Just need an opinion about what to do please. It's been working wonderfully but the other day during a movie it cut off. We killed the main power, switched it back on and powered the projector back up and it worked just fine for about 2 minutes and then cut off again. Does this mean the bulb or lamp needs to be replaced? Also... if it's out of warranty how would one go about doing this? We have a big movie night coming up next week and would love to have this ready to go!
