Microsoft wmv movie file does not show up 3300MP Projector

I try to show Microsoft wmv movie file on 3300MP projector. I feed the wmv file from my PC notebook to the projector.  Although I can see the movie on PC screen, I don't see the same image on the projector screen, just blank image on Windows Media Player window, but I can see the playing progress bar moving.  I connected M1-A to D-sub/USB cable from PC to the projector. How do I make audio signal from the wmv file work?.   M. Hahn
