M109S spots - dead pixels ?

Hello - I bought a 109S that had problems within the warranty timeline and got it replaced with another unit in November of last year. Now, I see tons of spots on the screen, assuming these are dead pixels (?)

Is there a solution to this ? if not, I'm not sure if I have warranty on the unit. If I have to get this fixed, is it worth sending it in or would i be better off buying a new projector ? Also, I'm not able to find my service tag on Dell's support page so I dont know how to interact with a Delll agent.
