laptop + projector for college classroom presentations

Hi: I am looking for advice on which laptop and projector I should purchase for doing classroom presentations. Most of the presentations will involve power point. A few will consist of slides and some simple basic action sequences, for example schematic of an action potential in a neuron. So I don't think i need a lot of computing power, I won't be downloading a lot of information, I will check e-mail. Almost all the information will be on CD.

I am looking for ease of operation, reliability, minimal technical dramas or glitches, and affordabilty.

Any experiences, suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
