Inspirin 11 touchscreen not working

I have a brand new Inspirin 11 and I'm having this really weird issue.  It seems that if I close the lid, or the unit goes to sleep, when it wakes back up, the middle part of the screen, horizontally, stops reacting to touch.  It still reacts about 1 1/2 inches up from the bottom, and about 2 inches down from the top, but the remainder area between does not.  If I reboot, everything works correctly again.  

Anyone had any issues like this?
