image freezes on 2400MP
Hi,
I got a new 2400MP last week.
The image on screen is very good. Sharp and good contrast.
But... when watching a DVD or TV Channel the image sometimes freezes for a second. This happens intermittantly at irregular intervals. I checked the dvd's and TV channels on my regular television, no problem.
I still have an 4 year old Philips projector and that doesn't show the problem eighter.
I use a 50ft composite cable, supplied with the projector. Could the problem have something to do with that? I just looks as if the 2400MP has a problem in handling the amount of analog information.
Should I ask for a replacement?

I have the same problem. But in my case I have had the projector for over a year now and it has very recently started freezing images. It is particularly obvious when playing action games on xbox 360, so at first I thought it might be my console or the composite connection, but then I realised it was doing it also when connected to my DVD player through S-Video. The same dvd segment will freeze in different parts on each try. It is getting worse with time.
This definitely did not happen a month ago and nothing in my configuration has changed since.

It seems I found a fix. Restoring factory settings in the menu completely eliminated the problem. I do not know what I might have moved to break it in the first place, but it definitely works fine now.
