How to get parts to repair out of warrenty Dell 1800MP projector?

My company purchased a Dell Projector MN: 1800MP and it has stopped working and the warranty has expired. I believe the problem is with the ballast board that drives the lamp. I am unable to locate this internal spare part assembly, the number on the board is “T1B-94V-0”, does anybody know how to order parts for repair? When I spoke with Dell’s Technical Support I asked if I could get a service manual or how I could purchase this part. I was given a support case number but the only thing they could suggest was to contact a third party contractor. I spoke with the contractor and they did offer to fix the unit, but my goal is not to send the unit in, rather just replace an internal board. If anybody knows how to order spare parts or if a service manual is available please let me know. Thanks for your help…..
