HELP PLEASE - Rows of 8 Vertical lines on 3200MP Display

I have a problem with my 3200MP that has steadily gotten worse and I could really use some assistance.   I have tried diffent connections and replacing cables and still have the problem.

 

The 3200MP is displaying rows of 8 vertical lines across the screen.  They start to show up as soon as the projector is turned on, and seems worst during the first 30 minutes of operation.  After a while, they become sporadic and will disappear and then reappear for no apparent reason. 

 

I was using a component input through the M1 adapter, but have also tried hooking up direct from a pc and using s-video.  But I believe the problem is not with the connection since the bars show up even with nothing attached and the Dell is just projecting the white start up screen.

 

Tried taking out the lamp and cleaning out the interior with compressed air in case dust had built up and was causing the problem.  Also have hooked the unit up through four different electrical outlets to see if that might be the problem to no avail.

 

I believe the unit is out of warranty (2 + years old) so probably S O L there.

 

Has anyone experience this problem and been able to correct it?  Any advice on what else I can try doing?

 

Have a major presentation coming up on Monday so need some help asap if possible.
