Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 1080UB , is Dell Authorize Dealer?

I want to buy the Epson  PowerLite Home Cinema 1080 UB from Dell but Don't know if Dell is Authorize dealer?  This is extremely important, 2 year factory Warranty is only for Authorize Dealer , if not Epson will not Honor the 2 year warranty.  I had experience this personally with optoma projector, they will not fix projector that is not purchase from authorize dealer.   Please Let me know ASAP!  Also why is dell price So high?  Other retail are selling the projector for $2799 while Dell currently selling for $2999.    Also one last question, Does the Epson 1080UB offer extend warranty From Epson, not third party(I hate third party)?  EX.  optoma offer 2 year warranty on all projector and can be purchase 30 from day of purchase from retail for $299.
