Dell is using false advertising

I'm posting this because I'm very upset that I have a $100.00 Dell coupon that they are not going to honor.  I called this evening to purchase a projector.  I purchased a notebook in August 2007 and received a $100.00 coupon that will expire on October 29, 2008.  When I went to use the coupon tonight, I was told it was already expired and there was nothing Dell could do about it.  I'm baffled!  The only thing I can assume is that Dell is in the business of false advertising to get you to purchase from them.  This was the second time this evening that Dell welched on a deal.  I was originally looking at the 1209S projector.  When you look at the TECH SPECS, at the bottom of the page titled "WHATS IN THE BOX" it states there is a carrying case included.  When I spoke with Customer Service I was told there really isn't one included.  Isn't this false advertising?  BUT...the CS person was willing to offer me a carrying case at a really "sweet" deal for an additional amount of money!  Hmmmmm, now we're talking bait and switch!  I've always trusted Dell but I'm going to have to re-think my loyalties to them.  I've always purchased from Dell but now I'm not so sure I want to be a part of the Dell family.  Heres a copy of the coupon offer...you tell me if it looks expired.

The code is active right now, so don't wait — start shopping today!
Minimum purchase of $100 is required for coupon to be valid (before tax and shipping).

Expires 10/29/2008.

On my honor, this is not a toched up copy of the coupon I received.  I can't show the entire coupon because it has private information about my previous order.

I want to thank Jimmy P at Dell for helping me resolve this issue.  I've ordered my projector and soon will be ordering another lap top.  Dell has honored their commitment and I appreciate it very much.
