Dell 4220 Projector with wireless dongle

The projector works great (image wise) but we are having lots of trouble getting the wireless to work correctly.  It is constantly dropping the connection.   When it does hold a connection the speed is super slow and opening network files (the projector is wired to our network to allow network traffic to pass thru it when the user is connected wirelessly to it) will pretty much cause everything to come to a screeching halt.

I ended up updating the firmware for the projector and the firmware for the wireless found here  downloads.dell.com/.../dell-4220-all.html   that seemed to fix my issues.

The only additional issue I have found has been when connected to it certain users will disconnect and re-connect to our primary wireless network in the office.   I have not yet determined if the issue is on the user's end or on the projector's end.  It is used sparingly in my office and other matters are generally more pressing so I have not had a chance to dig into that issue.  Dell technical support was not much help.

We also just purchased one of these projectors and are having similar issues.  We seem to be OK in maintaining the WIFI connection, but when we try to open a file via the network, it seems to take forever, even if it is a fairly small file.  The projector is connected via CAT5 cable and the laptop is connected via the wireless dongle.  Has there been any other reports of this?  Any fixes?  FYI, internet speed seems to be unaffected.

Thanks, I will try this, as you said, there are more pressing issues but hopefully, this will do the trick.
