Dell 3200MP showing white box only

Question

We were using the projector in one meeting and they took it to another meeting to find it would not show anything but a faint white block on the wall.  I can't see the dell logo at boot nor can I see the menu when pressing the menu button.   Is there anything out there we can do in house to fix this problem.   I've already tried a new bulb and that was not the problem.

I also have the exact same problem and just spent $400.00 on a new bulb after talking to Tech Support.  They told me the bulb was ' weak' and needed replaced, now 400 bucks later I still have just a faint white light on the wall and no output, no menu, no anything.   Very frustrating, any help or fixes you came up with would be great to hear.   Thanks.   Chuck

I am having the same problem with my 3200mp, I also called tech support and they told me to replce the bulb, but still the same thing, just a white box on the wall with nothing else. The projector is past its warrenty, but I just spend 400 some dollars for a new bulb because the tech support was sure that it was the problem, and I do not want to scrap the projector. I've searched the net, and there are alot of people with the same problem, but no one has an answer for it. if anyone has an idea on what is going on it would really help.

Similar problem...would prefer to NOT buy new bulb if that's not problem. Seems Dell should figure this out?

I have the same problem. Only white box of light, no projector boot-up. It's not the bulb, I replaced it and still have the same problem.  Did anyone get any help or answers to repair this problem ?
