Palomino,

What specific parts?

I found that the squirrel cage blower that is supposed to blow cooling air on the bulb had a lot of dust in it.  I blew it out with canned air and then the 2300MP worked.  After a few days, it hung up again and a slight nudge got it to spin again.  I would like to purchase a new fan to replace the intermittent one.  I will need to get into the unit again in order to find out if it has any item numbers on it.  But, then again, there might be only one model of the fan.  Is there a source for the part?

Palomino,

I do not see internal parts. All I see is the part number for the entire projector. We would just exchange them while under warranty. Is yours within warranty?

No, it is not under warranty.  I would not have gotten into it if it was under warrenty.  From your perspective and directed work assignment, I wouldn't expect you to have anything but a complete unit part number.

But, your company does sell this item, and should know who can supply parts.  If you farm out repairs, then the company to whom you farm out the warranty repairs should know where parts can be obtained.

On behalf of all the persons who have out of warranty projectors, we deserve that kind of support from your company.  You should be able to supply companies that can do out of warranty repair work and the companies that provide parts to the companies that do our of warranty repair.

Why don't you tell your upper management that if they want the respect of the customers, this is the least you could do for the customers that bought your product

By the way, if you could only supply the part number for the entire unit, then why did you ask me what part I needed?

Palomino,

At the time, I did not know the parts page did not have them broken out into the component level.

I also have a Dell 2300MP Projector.  Recently the internal Bulb busted into pieces.  I don't know if there is a short on the PCB or it got overheated.  I don't want to spend a few hundred on a new Bulb and see it is busted again.  The warrantee was expired.  Is there a Dell Service in the US, especially near Los Angeles area, that I can send to for service check or repair if damaged?  Please post the address and phone number of the Service place.  Thanks.
