Dell 2300 MP projector
Projector was stolen, recovered and now returned. Plugged it in and it powered up. Bulb came on and projected the PC image. The focus and zoom rings will not move. There is a gouge on the focus ring as if it was dropped or ran into something. Is there a lock that releases them or can I assume they are jammed from some sort of impact? The projector is long out of warranty. I am thinking my next step is to start taking it apart. Any ideas?

There is nothing in the Manual concerning the rings and I cannot find disassembly documentation. I think your just going to have to try and see what happens.
