Dell 2200mp making grinding noise

Question

My Dell 2200mp still works fine visually however it makes a grinding noise which is louder sometimes than others.    Anyone else have this problem?   Chris

Did this noise just start?

Twice a month, do the following:
* Power the projector off
* Unplug the projector
* Open the Lamp Module cover on the bottom of the projector (remove the screws)
* Use a can of compressed air (ie.air duster) to blow out all the accumulated dust on the bulb and bulb surroundings. Do not touch the bulb with your hands
* Replace the cover and screws

Any difference in the noise?

I did that today but the noise is still there.    It's pretty loud but he picture is fine.    Any ideas?  Have you ever heard of this with a projector.   Chris
