DELL 2200 PROJECTOR REPLACEMENT PART NEEDED.
Our church has a Dell 2200 mp. There is a disk inside that spins and is located forward of the lamp. This disk is associated with the colors that project on the screen. It is about the size of a silver dollar and has 4 separate colors ----- Red, Green, Blue and Yellow. Does anyone know how I can get my hands on a new part. Our unit was jolted and due to this the part broke and became unbalanced. This has caused a problem with the colors.

It isn't a question of "wouldn't send it". It is a question of cannot. We do not have parts for projectors. When they are defective, we replace the whole projector. The defective projector is then sent to the manufacturer.
Here is the complete "parts" list for this projector:
X1858 Carrying Case
X1977 Lens Cover
C2727 2200MP Replacement Projector
C3255 4 Meter US Power Cord, 120V
X1853 Cable Kit, Includes ALL Cables EXCEPT Power Cord
X1854 3 Meter US Power Cord, 120V
C3505 Ceiling Mounting Bracket Kit
X1818 Replacement BULB Kit, 200 Watt
X1855 Remote Control, 1100MP/2200MP/2300MP

It's obvious that Dell has a strategic partnership with Core. Would Dell be willing to give us information on how to contact Core. I would assume as a Dell employee you could easily get such information...especially for the folks whose projectors are out of warranty.
It would be much appreciated if you could add such information to the Dell Projector Forum FAQ. I understand if this is proprietary information, I deal in NDAs on a daily basis...but if it can be given to Dell customers, it would be great.

The name of the company is not Core. It is Coretronic Corporation.
http://www.coretronic.com/aboutus/contactus.aspx
Once I found this out, it wasn't difficult to find references on Dell's own website within projector support for such a company.

The question now is; will Coretronics support us better than Dell.

Looking for a quote for a replacement bulb for Dell Projector 2200MP. We purchased this in 2004 and it works great, but just got a message saying that I have over 1000 hours and need a replacement bulb. I will need to put in a purchase order through the main office and I am looking for a quote to start the order process. Parts list for this project gave the numbers for the part as X1818.
Thank you for your time, I will wait to hear from you.
