Dell 1800MP DLP Projector- what kind of VGA cables

Just purchased Dell 1800MP DLP Projector for our computer club and need longer VGA cables [& USB2].  Looking in Cyberguys Catalog and not sure the difference between

VGA HD15 w/ stereo
VGA HD 15
VGA HD15 low loss

[or should I get an extension cable]

Also what is the longest optimal one .......... looking at 15 ft or 25 ft.

I did not think this projector had a speaker.......... am I correct?  The Manual is very sketchy other than it having an 'audio in' and audio out'.  I am sure that one of you has my answer.  Thanks

VTvista,

Did you decide on a cable? How does it look?

VGA HD15 w/ stereo - 15 PIN D shell VGA cable with stereo (3.5mm) connection - yes, the 1800 has a speaker VGA HD 15 - regular 15 PIN VGA cable VGA HD15 low loss - 15 PIN VGA cable with low loss spec - I'd think taht was for long cable runs, etc. If your cable is less then say 15 ft. I would say you don't need that option. J

jlstamey:  Thanks for the comments........... really hope that VGA w/stereo will work.  Documentation w/projector was really poor.  VTvista

Thanks Chris for replying...........  have not decided which cable.  Looked at the one that came with the projector and it is a 6' VGA male/male.  I am leaning toward a longer one w/stereo if that will work with the projector.

Cyberguys catalog only comes in 3, 6, 10, 25 & 50' lengths and description is:  "" Use one of these combination VGA/Stereo cables to connect your computer's sound and analog ports to your audio-capable analog display"   Connect 2 audio-capable VGA monitors to one another".

Would really like a 15' as I read that that is the optimal length for the USB cable for the wireless remote and will be using them in tandem.  Will have to look at another resource when I return to FL ............ currently looking at 1 1/2 ft of snow and waiting for Christmas.
