Dell 1210S blinking, twerping

Need to know what is going on- bulb bad? Color wheel failing? Projector twerps (like a bird, not Miley Cyrus) blinks continuously after being on for about 5 min. Blinks until shut down and orange temp and bulb indicators start flashing. Have to unplug completely to get projector to re-set. 

FYI- I have cleaned/dusted it very well and re-tried- same symptoms.
