5100mp will not power up (NO lights, NO sounds, No anything)

I have an out-of-warranty 5100mp unit.

The unit shut down unexpectedly, and now will not power back up.

There are no lights anywhere on the unit, other than the display intermittantly flashes at irregular intervals.

I have tried numerous things, including letting the unit cool down, different power adapter, etc.

Anyone have any thoughts? Is the unit fried?
