5100MP Power Saving Mode
What am I missing to get Power Saving to work?
I went up to our in-office classroom at 6:30 AM this morning to find the 5100MP had not been turned off since last being used about 14 hours prior to my arrival. The unit had been projecting the big blue and white Dell banner screen with full boldness using each and every one of its 3300 lumens to fill the otherwise dark and empty room with a placid but very unexpected blue illumination that immediately unveiled the secret of a double automatic power down failure. First, the lamp was set up via the the OSD to turn off after receiving no signal from an input device for a period of 5 minutes. And second, the the built-in total unit shut-down after 2 hours of complete inactivity apparently didn't work either. So, always one to doubt my actions first, what did I do wrong? Did I miss a setup step somewhere? Is there a simple fix? If anyone can shed some light (ha, ha) on this problem, I would be very greatful.

* Disconnect the power cord from the projector
* Press the power button in for 5 seconds
* Reconnect the power cord to the projector
* Power it on. What happens?
