5100 MP - Buzzing Problem when Ceiling Mounted
We have been using our 5100mp in a home theater setup, set on a table. We recently built a new entertainment center to specifically accommodate ceiling mounting the 5100mp. Once we got it mounted, and turned it on, the projector started making a loud buzzing noise. When I take it off the mount and place it right-side up on the table, the noise stops. The second I turn it back over, it starts again. The noise is far to loud to allow the projector to be used in the home theater set up. The noise is definitely from the projector (not the mount). Unfortunately, the projector is 2 years old and out of warranty (I think).
Does anyone have any solutions? I have already opened the projector up and dusted it out. I also changed the lamp. Neither solution helped.

Having probed around the inside of the projector, it sounds like the noise is coming from behind the big fan (color wheel perhaps?). In any event, I can't get inside far enough to figure out exactly what it is. Unfortunately the buzz happens ONLY when the projector is upside down...not sideways or on it's feet.
I may have no choice but to replace the projector. If that's my only option, can anyone else with a 5100mp who has it ceiling mounted tell me if they get the buzzing noise (or any noise beyond the normal, whisper-quiet, fan noise).
If not, does anyone have alternate high-def. projector recommendations that won't cost me a small fortune.
