4100mp projector displays flickering vertical white line

i've recently noticed this with my 4100mp dlp projector.  whenever i turn on my projector, when it is at the dell startup screen, the white screen.  there is a vertical black line that is about 5% thick on the right hand side of the screen and when the projectors switches to auto sync mode where it displays the blue dell screen there is a white flicker line that appears at the same spot where the solid black line was before?  how can i fix this problem.  thank you so much for your help,.
