3400MP - any good for movies, and being on all-day?

I'm thinking of buying the 3400MP, but I'd like to use it for occaisional movies at home. Can anyone tell me if it would be any good for film? The contrast ratio is good for an ultraportable which suggests it'll be OK. Also, I'll use it for all-day training, and have been told that ultraportables can overheat becuase the smaller box moves less air. Is this a problem with the 3400MP? thanks!
