3300MP HDMI Connections
I have a 3300MP projector that is connected to my Sony DVP-NS75H DVD player. I have an HDMI cable connected to the the DVD player that runs to a HDMI to M1-DA adaptor connected to the projector.
The DVD player owners manual states that you cannot connect the HDMI OUT jack to DVI jacks that are not HDCP compliant, and in searching these forums, I've noticed that the 3300MP is not HDCP compliant.
Obviously, I'm not getting anything on the projector, but I wanted to see if anyone else had had any success or a similar failure and what if any recourse there is to fix the problem. I've got to say, I'm rather disappointed that I can use the full capability of my DVD player, so I hope that if there is a firmware fix, that Dell will push it out quickly.
If anyone has any suggestions or thinks I'm doing something wrong, please let me know.
Thanks.

Dell only releases firmware to correct an issue. What your asking us to do is taking a product out of the originally sold specifications and upgrading it to meet new technologies. We do not do this. We will release a new line of projectors to support this new technology.
