3200MP overheat light comes on after only a few minutes.

I have a 3200MP projector that has been the best one I have ever owned.  About a week ago I noticed the projector turned off by itself after about 45 mins of use.  I also started to hear a whine apparently coming from the fan.  Now the projector turns off after only a few minutes of use and the overheat light (red) comes on.   I can manually turn the unit back on after the (red) light goes out.

 

Is this a limp problem or a fan issue?  If it is the fan where would I get a replacement?

 

help.  I don't think it is still under warranty and i really like this powerhouse...
