3200MP Issues
Recently, my out-of-warranty 3200MP malfunctioned. In the middle of a presentation, the unit light output went down dramatically, the lamp light came on, and it became impossible to make out any projected information. Thinking the bulb had failed, I ordered a new one from Dell and installed it. Upon start-up, the unit came on normally, with the "Dell count-down screen." as soon as the count got to zero, the lamp light came on and the light shut down. Now, upon restart, sometimes this exact thing repeats...Dell Screen, then lamp light. However, sometimes the unit has a very dim light projection, which looks uneven and with no readable text, but the unit gets hotter when this happens. This is whether it is connected to a PC or not.
Any ideas?

While disconnected from a PC and powered on, can you enter the On-Screen Display? If yes, Factory Reset it.
