2400MP Remote Page Up/Down Not Functioning

I built a slide show using Microsoft PowerPoint. I can advance the slides using the keyboard, but when I try using the remote, they won't advance. All the other functions of the remote work except for the page up / down buttons. Is there something different in the projector menu? In the laptop? In the PowerPoint itself? By the way, I'm using a Dell Latitude Laptop. Thanks for your help!
