2400 losing signal

Question

My 2400 projector seems to be losing the signal on certain DVDs. At certain points in the DVD, the projector seems to lose the signal and tries to reacquire it and displays the splash screen. This only happens on certain DVDs, not all that I play. It never happens when I am sending a TV signal. I am switching the DVD and TV through the same VCR, so I do not think it is a cable issue. Any ideas?

sgbarrow, You should connect the projector directly to the DVD player and test it.

Thanks for the response.  I swapped the DVD player with another and it seems to work better now.  Is there a signal sensitivty figure that is relevant that I can use to evaluate another DVD player?  Thanks
